Our Wedding Card Design with Basic Invite

We are three months out from our wedding, and although we had to reset our date (we postponed because of Covid-19!—more on that later) we're so excited to have everything falling into place, including our beautiful wedding invitation suite that we custom-created with Basic Invite! With so many pre-designed templates (there are over 900 different sets), from wedding card design options to place cards for wedding guests, it was easy for us to find a suite that we loved and then completely customize the text, layout, and color options to make it fully ours.

There are so many designs to choose from (you can even upload your own) on Basic Invite, but we finally settled on the Antique Chic design suite. I loved how many options the suite has—there are even clear acrylic save-the-date cards that I'm planning on repurposing for our table signage.

I knew going into designing our invitation suite that I wanted it to be all-inclusive and able to feature our invite card alongside directions, accommodations, registry info, and a response card. The traditional pocket insert helped handle that. We were even able to include an additional card for our guests with a "things to do, eat, and see" list. Everything had a touch of foil and we love the way it all came out. Upon receipt in the mail, all of our guests were so impressed, they've said that our invites are the nicest they've received of any wedding they've ever been to!
