across one of my new favorite little shops; BellJar. Located on 16th Street in the
Mission District, Sasha Wingate's boutique holds a bounty of treasures; antique odds
and ends, rich home decors, printed sets of cards, lavish soaps, delicate necklaces, fine
dishes, gorgeous clothing and things and more little lovelies. There is a viewing gallery
at the back of the shop. I especially like the closet-of-curiosities tone that meets you
upon notice of the various taxidermy animals spotted about.
May I recommend the Onyx Currant triple-milled soap by MOR - retails about $18.00
and so worth it! It smells of old-world extravagence and suds into a rich, creamy lather.
