I'm beginning a new embrace of the polka dot. Often I've found it to be too girly, or immature for my taste, but in my opinion a dot done right can be almost a neutral backdrop or a quietly soft statement. I figure if I stick to my gut and adopt the dot in a light and understated palette, it can have a very special place of honour in my closet. This was another easy work look, and in keeping with my true nature and adoration of the minimalistic approach, all I added on were neutrals.
