Last year I taught myself to knit.
I made a six-foot scarf for boyfriend, three snoods for myself and a cape for puppy. Now that the weather will be turning cold soon again I plan to take up a more aggressive project with my fluffy rolled pieces. Maybe make them heftier, or double knit them... I do have a basket of odds and ends I wanted to apply... Nonetheless my inspiration board during the project will be plastered with images of the sculpturally genius pieces from the mind of Sandra Backlund.

This is amazing! I love knitted pieces, my aunt used to make me sweaters like that. She's pretty talented when it comes to knitting. I can only make scarves...
