I come from a heritage of artful creatives —a clothier in New York, a model in Los Angeles, a world-traveler with a penchant for fine china— most everyone in our clan has some knack for painting or photography. I found my love of styling in everyday things when I was young. I believed it was normal to be so OCD about the arrangement of a childhood dollhouse, a stack of textbooks, or a lunchtime placesetting. This lust for designed order came to fruition during my years studying Fine Art, and when a summer lived in Paris brought with it the influence of fashion. Eclectic à la Mode (called EÀLM because I have a thing for acronyms and concise copy) was born as a Thesis Project while attending grad school. Now it's a place for the enjoyment of my closet. EÀLM gives a glimpse at my own personal style and influences, and (as I try to say often) seriously doesn't take itself too seriously.
