The cold Pacific calls to me by the shoreline,
I stand my ground atop an old barracks
that in new light still sits quietly austere.
I layered up a black micromodal maxi dress by Nikki Marie
with a bullion threaded double-layered long tank.
The ferns in the embroidery pattern of the top made me think of something
Eastern, which I sought to enhance with a tied wrap belt tassel necklace.
The necklace I made myself, attaching multiple silk yarns and affixing them with a giant bead from Tibet. I imagined something comfortable I'd wear on a retreat to Bali or another beautiful place set to quiet the mind... minus heels, of course.
