I tossed on my favorite gray slub tee and some white shorts today, stacked on a couple bracelets, and strapped on my tan gladiators to get out and run a few quick errands.. But the weather was so gorgeous I just didn't want to go back in yet! I stopped by Aud's and we grabbed some lunch (I had an AMAZING grilled veggie sandwich with a smoothie) and then had some solid girl time (which of course involves retail.)

FASHION SOURCE BOOK
My Fashion History, 20th Century Fashion Arts class has led to a new assignment and a new project.
While I've been keeping an extensive hard copy on hand, my fashion source book will now also be kept updated online. The blog, http://theeclecticsourcebook.blogspot.com/, here linked as this topic, will be continually updated with my current and lingering inspirations to my styling, personal taste, and beyond.
I find myself constantly influence not only by pieces from excellent designers, but also from music, film, and the occurances in everyday life.
Check it out! you WON'T be disappointed!

Homage to my Hometown*
* "America is my country; and Paris is my hometown." - - Gertrude Stein
Good Morning!
Falling asleep knowing you're under the Eiffel Tower surely puts you adrift peacefully, but my favorite part of every day was waking up - not only for knowing that I was awakening still in the city of lights, but because it meant the hotel breakfast room; getting ready in full luncheon gear earlier than you ever had to be ready for brunch with your Mum-mum, and walking down through the courtyards, and coffee all the more delicious since you're in France, and scrambled eggs, bacon, and croissants globbed in honey, and enough yogurt and pineapple to make you feel like a fro-yo confection. Pair that meal with all of the walking you'll be doing the rest of the day and you have just inherited the bona fide diet plan from European heaven.
